STAUB
Staub ist eine Band aus Hannover, die sich musikalisch am Besten im Bereich Metal/Gothic einordnen lässt. Dabei hat das Projekt bei der Gründung 2006 unter einem völlig anderen Stern gestanden – es sollte deutschsprachige Rockmusik fabriziert werden. Das ist Geschichte! Nach musikalischer Reifung und diverser Umbesetzungen ging die Reise dann letztendlich in eine völlig andere Richtung, lediglich die deutschsprachigen Texte sind bislang geblieben, aber nicht mehr die absolute Bedingung, denn man will sich keinen kreativen Ausschlusskriterien in diesem Bereich mehr stellen. Lediglich der Stil ist nun endlich von allen abgesegnet. Somit ist es geschafft an einen Punkt zu kommen, an dem sich die Band mit der Musik, die sie macht sehr wohl fühlt. Mit der letzten Umbesetzung am Gesang in 2010 ist dieses Vorhaben dann auch dingfest gemacht worden, denn mit Violetta hat sich die Band bewusst für eine weibliche Stimme entschieden, da sie mit Ihrer gefühlvollen, weichen Stimme die nötige Atmosphäre in die zu Teilen doch sehr raue und teilweise melancholische Gitarrenmusik bringt. Die Band bedient sich zusätzlich hier und da einiger samples um das Ganze in das für sie passende Bild zu bringen. Das offizielle line-up der Band gestaltet sich somit in: den Gesang (Violetta), 2 Gitarren (Tim und Ralf), Bass (Andreas) und Schlagzeug (Stefan). Die Band hat sich im Laufe der letzten Jahre einen Ruf als gute Live-Band erarbeitet und wird hier nicht nur ansetzen, sondern neue Maßstäbe für sich selbst setzen. Allen, die die Band durch die letzten Jahre treu begleitet haben sei gesagt, dass es jetzt zwar etwas anders, dafür aber besser denn je wird! Und natürlich ein dickes Danke für die Treue!! Cheers!

STAUB (DUST in English) is a band from Hannover, whose is music is best described as a mixture frome metal and gothic stuff. The project stood, at its creation in 2006 under a completely different planet - it should be made German language rock music. This is history! With musical maturity and diverse line-up changes the trip took them end up in a completely different direction, only the German lyrics have survived so far. But they´re not the absolute condition. They do not want any creative exclusion criteria at this point no more. And finally the style is finally approved by all members, and it is fixed. Thus this is done a point is reached the band identifies itself best with the music, what makes them very satisfied. With the latest shuffle in 2010, this project is established. With Violetta the band has deliberately opted for a female voice. Chosen because of her sensitive, soft voice that brings the necessary atmosphere into the music that is based on very rough and sometimes melancholic guitas.. The band also uses some samples to get that wall of sound they want to create. The official line-up of the band is as follows: voice (Violetta), 2 guitars (Tim and Ralf), bass (Andreas) and drums (Stefan). The band has evolved a reputation as a good live band during the past 3 years and will not only start from there, they want to set new standards for themselves. Some things will be different, yes.. but way better than ever before!
